Isn't it better if I don't make a confession that I've secretly liked you all this time than to just ask you to hang out with me and my friends? Then maybe we can have a lot of fun, laughter, a deep conversation, and then maybe -- just maybe -- you are starting to like me and we can hang out more and more. And maybe I'll start to matter as much to you as you matter to me (hypothetically).
