Guy's Behavior

He acts like 2 different people when he's around other women?

So, I met this guy a few weeks back. He's a handsome charming man. I'm at the point where I need to take my time before getting into a relationship so I not overtly flirtatious with guys. Still, this guy and I click have fun conversations and such. What is confusing to me is that he invites me to do things (more in a group setting) and then completely ignores me when there. For example he invited me to a Salsa class and then a dance club with his friends. While on the way to the club we are chatting having fun conversations. When we get there he gets real awkward around me. The weirdest thing is that he is totally comfortable with other women. He jokes and laughs, but with me he gets stiff. Yet, he would mention another woman that he likes. But the next day then we have long text sessions. We haven't been intimate (I don't do that unless I'm in a committed and established relationship) it's more confusing than anything else. Like he likes when I'm around but too afraid to interact with me in a large group setting. I believe he is attracted to me but is he just nervous or trying to play games?
