Girls, Does he like me?

Okay, so we have met over school and he's giving mixed signals. So me and him have a mutual friend named L so me and L are friends and hang out sometimes. Him the boy who we'll call Peter the one who's giving me mixed signals. Okay I had a crush on Peter for about 2 weeks and I found later when I didn't like him anymore by L his bff that Peter had a crush on me and then he didn't around the time I did. Okay so, Today and other days Peter and I would sometimes lock eyes for about 40 sec and then stop. Peter today grabbed L by his backpack and pulled him back and told him to stop but it was weird cuz Me and L were talking. In history I see him glance sometimes and obvi to see the board but the teacher has screens to write the notes that are in the front but he likes to see the ones by where i sit. Peter and his friends seem to be everywhere i go with my friends. Peter friends usually hang-out during lunch on the lunchtables and me and my friends hang by a tree and his friends are now coming near where we are. My friend ask him if he liked me and he said no but she said he isn't going to tell me if he's with his friends. So what do y'all think?
