Is this sign of depressive person?

My friends told me that he (dumper) hide all his facebook posts and pictures which is not like him. In November he deleted his Instagram account for a month and facebook for 2 weeks before he reactivated them again at the start of December. I don't know if this is sign that he’s depressed or something. Maybe dumper’s regret is starting to hit him?

Not sure if it's dumper's regret. He could've hidden and deleted all that because he simply didn't want you to see him or try to Like or message him on those platforms, and maybe thought that by doing this for awhile that it would not only help him but also help you to move on and forget. I'm not saying this is actually the case or even a logical action, but could've been his reasoning behind it.

Or, he could've done it to hide a new person he started seeing.

Normally with dumper's regret, the person will try to spend lots of time with friends, post lots of "good times" pictures with other people, or even get into a rebound relationship to try to drown their sorrows. Not sure if he's done all that, at least from what you've told us, but with what you describe in your question, it doesn't quite sound like dumper's regret.

Me and him aren’t friends on facebook so it’s not like he did it because of me. He did’nt have posts about me or pictures with me.
