Recently I had a dream a group of men raped and murdered me and my story and a picture of my face as well was shown on national television but nobody cared about me dying because they thought i wasn’t pretty and there was even people changing the channel because they didn’t care about listening to my story just because they thought I wasn’t pretty

There's a lot to unpack here, and I may jump all over the place in my answer for you. First, dreams are wild, but I never put any stock into them as a reflection of my inner self. Anyone would have considered having that dream to be a nightmare, and I'm sorry that's what your brain ended up forcing you to sit through.

Second, your worth is not tied to your outward appearance. While there would inevitably be people who make fun of a tragedy, even one that made it to the news, I feel the vast majority of people would feel sympathy for you and start a manhunt for your attackers. And I hope the dream police would also take it seriously as well.

You can't just sexually assault someone and kill them and not be hated by the majority of society-- pretty or not, you're still valuable simply for being who you are. Not only that, beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.

If I had to take a crack at the meaning of the dream, it sounds like you felt worthless, discardable, and helpless to resist the whims of fate. But if you need someone in the real world to say it, your story would be a tragic one and people would definitely not act so callously. A very small portion of edgelords might react like contrarians, but the idea still stands. You didn't deserve to be used, abused, offed, and forgotten. Thankfully it was just a nightmare, but please don't think too hard on it. If anything I think you'd benefit from letting it go and healing, and focus on liking yourself so much that a dream where you're not valued never happens again.
