Should I tell my friend I like him?

I’m Friends with a guy and I like him and have done for awhile. He seemed interested until about 2 months ago a girl he used to like came back into his life and he’s got his eye on her now but he also says he doesn’t think she likes him back. I don’t wanna tell him how I feel and fuck up the friendship we have but I don’t wanna continue pretending all I wanna be is his friend. Or if by some chance he feels the same I don’t want him to think I don’t like him and move on if that makes sense.

If you rather stop wondering about the status then communicate with him. If you risk then at least you will know the truth and can move forward. If you do not then you will never know and always regret. I lean towards being honest.
