Would you teach your son to pee standing up or pee sitting down?

I am in the minority here, but when a guy pees standing it splashes everywhere (except when using a urinal). Unless they want to clean the bathroom every day, I think sitting is best. Although I help with housework today, my wife did a lot of it when our boys were small. Out of respect for her, I sit and we taught our sons to do the same.

I'd teach them to pee standing up once they reach certain age, like 7 or 8. I don't want them making a mess in other houses, etc.

Taught my three sons to pee standing up. Though in retrospect, should have taught peeing down given how bad their aim seems to be and how little they like to clean the bathrooms.
