Why do I have eye contacts with my crush frequently?

I often notice that whenever I look around I found my crush looking at me and we have eye contact for a sec and then I look away. So is there any reason. And I am always the one to break it as I feel so nervous.

My girl and I had such experiences in past even before we started dating. I had a major crush on her even before she had a crush on me. My eyes use to search for her all the time and as she was not into me at that time, she use to spend her time with other people while I was searching for her. Many a times she wanted to talk to me and she starts to find me and found out I was already looking at her and we made many such eye contacts. I nervously looked away. In start she never focused much on it. But when later when she started crushing on me and we both made such eye contacts, I did the same to look away but at that time she also noticed about the eye contact we made. I use to think that I was faster and she didn't caught me looking at her. Later while we started dating and use to talk about those old days when we were friends she shared her those experiences of her in past. And reading your questions reminded me of my memory.
