Normal for fiancé to snatch his phone out of my hand when I was just going to the compass?

My fiancé and I were debating on what way was north and my phone was downstairs. His was right in front of me, so I picked it up and proceeded to look up the compass on it. Before I could even get halfway there he snatched it out of my hands and said “I don’t like you on my phone”. It really hurt my feelings and he has never had any issue with this before. He was trying to call my name as I went and walked away and I said “you wouldn’t have snatched it away like that it you didn’t have anything to hide” and he didn’t say anything after that. Im genuinely upset about this and need advice.

Update: apparently he didn’t want me to “stumble across porn he was watching”. He knows that would get me upset.

Update 2: we had a very good deep conversation and he apologized sincerely and we both got out (civilly) all that bothered us. It was the best conversation we have had in a while. Everything is very good now ❤️

Doesn’t necessarily mean he’s cheating. Maybe he doesn’t like anyone touching his phone. I know I don’t, not cause I have something to hide but regardless some people still like to maintain a little privacy. I mean they had a life before you. So it could go either way. But that’s something you two need to discuss. Don’t get all touchy freely either. Discuss it w out getting your feelings hurt.

I didn’t grab it out of his hand. I picked it up off of the dresser. We’ve been together for 6 years and he has never had an issue with it before.

Could be cheating, or was caught cheating by an ex, or was accused of it. Or his parents used to do it, so he is conditioned to have an antipathy towards it. You'd need to talk about it.
