He always enjoys all our conversations and keeps smiling and laughing all the time when he's with me but like yesterday we were having a long conversation and he constantly kept replying to what i was saying (even kinda silly stuff) but then when i started talking about how I became friends with another guy and we had a great equation (this guy is his old friend) he suddenly became quiet and didn't once reply to what i was saying and just kept staring at me before changing the topic I didn't get it. Did he not like it that I mentioned him?

Well if you think that's the reason, then probably part of you thinks that there's something to worry about.

Yeah he felt jealous, specially because he is his friend

But without realising you were telling him that your relation with his friend is more special than your relation with him.
If you like him It's not a good idea to talk about his friend

I didn't ask him anything I just kept talking about me and his friend and then he changed the topic himself.
