Did I accidentally make him feel jealous?

I was on a night out with a group of friends including someone who has a crush on me.

At some point a stranger (a boy) came up to me and started talking to me. Out the corner of my eye I noticed that the guy who has a crush on me was looking over at the two of us, like he was trying to listen to what we were saying.

Was he feeling jealous?

Do you guys get jealous of your crush, even though they're just a crush?

Yes, we can get jealous of crushes. I'd say the crush stage is where jealousy happens the most since he doesn't "have" you and you're still on the market. Also you haven't had time to become secure in any kind of relationship so jealousy might spring up out of insecurity. 

As for your situation, I think he was more uncomfortable than actually jealous. It wasn't you doing it on purpose so I wouldn't worry about it.

A crush to us is almost the same as lust. We're led by the need to please ourselves.

Reality is only as you perceive it. If you wanted him to be jealous, you probably made him jealous
