Do you think he likes me? be 100% honest, okay?

(just so everyone knows I am a girl, I don't know why it says im a guy)

so, there's a guy. it all started last year, the first time i met him, (we go to the same school but i'd never talked to him), anyways we had one class together, my best friend started to like him. he found out about, but never really made a move. apparently he asked some other girl to our dance to make my bestie jealous, could've been a rumor though. but other than that they never even really talked. or interacted at all. she got over him.

one of my other friends overheard him talking to his friends. ig he told his friends i was pretty. but this was before he asked that other girl to the dance. so I wonder if he was tryna make me jealous or something. instead of my friend.

he would also look at me sometimes in class, and we both are in track and field, and when we would be running intervals or warm up laps, he would run besides me for like a whole lap, but not say a word.

that was last year though. this year I sat by him for a while because of assigned seats (i dont sit by him anymore) he was talking to me and making me laugh, and simile, and compliment me, and he even "accidentally" touched me. but now i don't sit by him. he sits somewhat across from me. some times i see him staring at me and then he'll look away, or during lunch we'll both glance over at eachother, but nothing major.

should I tell him I like him or continue to wait for him to make a move. i feel like he likes me, but he is one of those loud and popular boys, but he is nice to everyone, but I just feel like he would make a move if he likes me, cause he's not really shy. i dont think he is at least?

Anybody wanna give their opinion? and what I should do?

I agree, girls are so hard to read. A girl could be giving me all the signs and I still wouldn't be convinced they like me. His behaviour sounds exactly like what I'd do if I was interested in a girl but didn't know how they felt about me. He's talking to his friends about you, trying to get close to you, and keeping his eye on you. Make a move. You don't need to tell him upfront straight away, but start making it way more obvious then tell him.

@adam6402 what would make it more obvious in your opinion? I really like him, but have no idea how to tell him, or like you said make it obvious! thanks for your opinion though!
