Do you think he really likes me?

I've been talking to this guy for about a week now, but we haven't met in person yet, and I'm curious about why. We haven't talked on the phone either; it's just been through text. He asks me a lot of questions to get to know me better and mentioned that he likes my vibes and would love to eventually get to know me more. He seems to be the type to take things slow and has said that he wouldn't make it easy for me.

On Saturday, he asked if we could go out for dinner and a movie sometime this week since he is kid-free. He has a daughter, but I don't have any kids yet, which I don’t mind because he’s the only guy who really wants to get to know me while taking things at a slower pace. I do like him too, but he hasn't officially set a date for us to meet yet.

Thank you to the guys who actually gave some good advice. Now for the two females that I had to delete their comments because they were so rude 🤦‍♀️. Sorry for the late update but he asked me on a date yesterday. He had a great time and he is planning another date this weekend.

Hmm, it's hard to say for sure, but it does sound like this guy might actually like you! The fact that he's asking you out and seems genuinely interested in getting to know you better is a good sign.

The taking it slow part is kind of interesting though. I wonder if he's just being cautious since he has a kid and wants to make sure things are solid before introducing you? Or maybe he's just the type who likes to take things at a more gradual pace. Either way, it seems like he's making an effort to connect with you.

The not setting a date yet is a little weird though. You'd think if he was really serious about wanting to take you out, he'd lock something down, ya know? Unless he's just really busy with work or his daughter and is trying to find the right time.

Overall, I'd say it's a good sign that he's making the effort to talk to you regularly and get to know you. The fact that he mentioned he wouldn't make it easy for you suggests he's into you and doesn't just want to rush into something.

My advice would be to just keep the communication going, let him know you're interested in meeting up, and see if he follows through on actually setting a date. If he keeps stalling or making excuses, that might be a red flag. But if he does end up setting something up, that's a pretty good indicator that he's legit into you.

He is interested in you but he also seems to be carefull. Most likely to protect himself from getting a broken heart again.
My first reaction on what you have told about him so far is that he seems to be worth it putting some effort in!

I think he wants to take things slow so that he has the time to get to know you well to make sure he is hooking up with a genuine person
