Whenever I ask my friend to go watch a football game, he makes sure he books a private lounge to watch it together. And I have thought so far that he would watch all the games at the lounge. He told someone that he books the lounge only when I ask him if I could come and watch the game, as he thinks it wouldn't be appropriate for me to watch the game with everyone else (which I thought was strange). I was shocked because he never ever told me he books the private lounge only when I want to come and watch the game. Would a guy just book a private lounge when an ordinary girl friend wants to watch a game?

If it's not obvious to you that he does care about you then he probably does not. You are going off of hearsay that you heard from a third party why not ask him and get the real story directly from the donkey's mouth. I mean you are 30-35 so you are old enough to figure this out for yourself.

Well, first time I have heard it, I did think noone would do anything like this for just an ordinary friend and it made me so happy! But why doesn't he just come out and say something? Or is he just expecting for a move from me?

No idea honestly, it's not something I would do like this myself if I was seriously interested in a woman. But some guys are lame like this, I would just come out and ask you on a real date.
