Okay, guys who don’t particularly like to text, is this worrisome?

I’ll be texting a guy I like and sometimes he just stops texting back, or he’ll just send an emoji as a response. I always stop texting back after that unless there’s a particular question I have to ask him quick. He 99% of the time responds in a timely fashion. Is this just a by product of a guy who doesn’t really enjoy texting or a warning sign he probably doesn’t like me back?

Not really, I don't think its a dislike of texting, it could be that he doesn't want to be too full on.

He’s admitted on occasion he’d rather talk face to face than text.

Out of the three guys I text with often (two being long time friends), he’s the only one I have this happen with.

Your texting expectations with the guy you like are the same as with the other two? Doubtful. Believe what you want, but if you put to much value on texting your relationship will fail.

I wasn’t sure because that was the only thing I had to compare it to. Hence, the question here. I don’t care that he isn’t a big texter. I didn’t know if it was because of me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

No, it doesn't matter who it is. Guys have very little patience for texting. Like if you want to talk to me about your day or something I can do that IRL But by text is such. a. beating.
