I use to ignore my one supervisor who is a jerk but I stopped and I’ve been saying hello how are you to him but when he says hello he looks annoyed?

And he also looks annoyed when I say hi to him even though I’m just being friendly and that’s all it is. I was an why he acts like this? Also I was wondering if I should just not even say hello? No rude comments please.

When an employee says "hello" to a boss and he looks at you with a blank stare or odd expression he is likely thinking, "don't say hey to me wasting my Time... get your work done or get where you are supposed to be... don't hey me get your work done and do it right for a change."

More times than not, this is what an irritated boss is thinking.
