I will keep it short and simple

we hook up
he tells me he loves me sleeping on his chest, that he feels good sleeping next to me, he always wants me to stay over and is reluctant to let me leave, he responds to my texts straight away unless he’s sleeping or work got busy, he gets jealous, he tells me I’m so beautiful and looks into my eyes, he holds my hand, he wants to spend both his days off work with me at his place (the weekend)

why I doubt his feelings: he hasn’t taken me on a date outside of his house but it could be because I said at first I preferred it that way, he uses his phone around me and we won’t talk whilst he does (makes me think he’s texting other girls

Using his phone doesn’t necessarily mean he’s texting other girls (unless you have specific proof of that). Depending on the circumstances can be rude tho.


I’d be curious if he is overall a shy person. The things you mentioned could all just be because he is shy.



I know not all guys like to talk about feelings, and the status of the relationship. But it might be good to be direct and talk about where you stand, and what you both want out of it. Most guys who are mature and have good intentions, will engage in that conversation with you.

Feelings can grow yes but if you see that he starts to drift and not put much effort anymore it's because he could be just in it for the sex
