Why is my male coworker suddenly trying to talk to me?

Out of nowhere, he’s busting my chops and going out of his way to make me laugh by acting silly. I’ve never really thought he’d acknowledge me, but after me asking for something he was preparing, a switch flipped. He lingers around my dept all the sudden and almost everytime he passes by, he has to talk to me or tries to be silly to make me laugh. I caught him looking at me from the corner of my eye and looked away when I looked at him. I’m not sure how to approach it or if I should. Thoughts?

Sounds as though he likes you. He may have felt awkward, shy or whatever as far as how to approach you. Most men aren’t good w approaching women. For one we rarely express emotions so imagine walking up to a girl you like to try to talk to her w out coming off as seeming weird. You really only got one shot at it. Women say why do men come off as weird, again lack of emotional express, plus a lack of experience. As a man you’re trying to come off as smooth, easy going but it comes out as being weird lol I think you initiating that co verse in first broke the ice on his part as far as trying to make conversation w you first.
