Should I stop being friends with him?

I have a guy who i met online. We are planning on traveling together in the future. We began talking with each other everyday after we met. He won't go a day without sending me a text. Suddenly He disappeared mid conversation for an entire week. He didn't read my messages. It was so strange of him that i worried he might be dead. Suddenly 1 week later, he sends me a message that he's alive and how are you? I replied. We had exactly 3 exchanges of conversation then he stopped replying. Its been 5 days and he didn't even read my message. The conversation wasn't even finished. He just disappeared mid conversation.

I feel like he's just doing it for the attention. He wants to make other people miss him.

Should i just block him? Im a grown woman almost 30 years old, too old to be entertaining immature games.

he's not busy either. He only works 4 hours a day

This would be a good thing to wait to see what he says. Things could be happening outside of work, like family issues. Maybe go out an another “date” I don't know if you like this guy or not. But I’d wait and ask if he wants to go out. If not then you can leave him on read.
