He got so flustered when he saw me that he couldn't talk for a minute, what do I make of this?

This guy puts himself in places where he could run into me. He's a very confident guy who gets shy. I know he has a crush on me for more than 6 months now, but I want to understand how strong it is. He's a full-grown adult male, mature. The other day, when I ran across him, he was waiting for me by the water cooler. He got so flustered that he couldn't talk. He just blushed hard. I asked him a few questions and he just couldn't talk. This guy is seriously alpha so I was really taken aback. Is this feelings stronger than a mere crush at this point? I don't know him very well.

That... is just not normal. You went out of your way to make sure it's understood that this is NOT a shy guy.

The putting himself in places he knows you'll be is sorta normal crush behavior. But being so flustered you can't speak for a minute is nowhere near normal. Not even for the shyest of guys.

If it's a sign of "how strongly" he feels about you, then he feels unhealthily strongly for you. But either way, this is NOT normal. I have never ever heard of this happening before. Not to a guy like this. I would be more concerned than flattered honestly. It's fucking weird!

That's what I was thinking. He is generally so confident and smooth. Not so smooth with me, but generally he is and everyone is basically intimidated by him. But he was really struggling to speak and I had to step away and get busy with a drink so he could collect himself. It was so vulnerable and sweet. I really wish he would tell me how he feels. I am so nice and kind to him, I try to put him at ease.

Yea... I donno... something about this situation gives me weird vibes. Like... I can't even explain it. It's just so at odds with my entire life's experience and understanding of people. I have trouble imagining the shyest most awkward guy I've ever met being so flustered. I don't know what's happening with a guy who isn't shy. It's... vaguely concerning. Like nobody should be that flustered around anybody ever. Whatever he's built you up as in his mind... it's... too much.
