How do I say I like you without saying I like you?

So, I have this friend that I really like, and I want to tell the guy that I like him without saying I like you. What is the best possible way to do that?

Start doing some of the same stuff as he does (games, clubs, that sort of thing).

Smile at him.

Make eye contact.

He'll get it pretty quickly.

Study him and what he likes. Then do something simple that will show him you are interested.

not really close, he's known me for a month, we don't really do much together.

Aha. What is the little that you do together at least? What's the acitivity?

I don't really see him. But we text a lot, we both like art so we talk about art and other interests.

Keep at it :) or maybe draw together or visit an art convention together, find other interests and watch a movie... art can't be the only thing he does for fun :)

Because I feel like saying I like him will come off as too bold

That’s not necessarily a bad thing. If a girl came up and told me that, I’d personally admire that and be incredibly flattered. That’s just me tho.
