How do you tell a guy who likes you that you don’t like him?

There’s this guy at school and he talks to me a lot especially during classes I have with him and he sits with me at lunch and we talk but we’re just friends and he said he likes me on Friday before school was over.

Why would you want to do that? He hasn't asked for anything. If he does, then you can politely decline. If he asks directly "Do you like me?" you can gently tell him the truth -- that you like him but not in a romantic way.

Your to young not to like anybody. Seems like he is being nice to you and apparently you enjoy his company or you wouldn't continue having lunch with him. Just because he says he likes you, isn't a commitment for anything serious.

I mean I don’t like a lot of people but I don't know I guess that’s different and yeah it’s not a commitment but he keeps like staring at me in between classes and especially at lunch when we sit down and hangout with other people sometimes. He isn’t mean or super weird just a little weird and has a thing for telling people that I’m like his best friend?
