How do you let a guy know that you like him?

I've been thinking of telling this guy I like him for a few days, but I just can't figure out the right way. I want to tell him asap. I'd thought about txting him, but I thought it'd be better to tell him to his face. But I don't know what I should say. Should I just be direct and tell him, "I like you."? Do guys like that or does it scare them?

well, personally, you should probably flirt with him a little. Telling a guy that you like him doesn't scare him, it all depends on whether he likes you or not. so yea, flirt with him, make sure he gives you at least two signs (touching his hair, opening up to you, laughing at your dumb jokes, blushing *yes, guys get red too, etc...) when you see these signs, he's hooked on to you, he may not even consciously know it yet. but DON'T tell him till you see these signs, there is a good chance he'll not like you, or it'll become awkward. When you get your 2 or more signs from him, stare at him for a while and just say (with a big smile, and whilst twirling your hair) "take a hint silly, I like you"

If you aren't direct he might not notice, and if he does notice he will not be SURE and this will make him angry. Being honest, and direct is always appreciated.
