Ladies, would you let a guy know you got home hours if you just saw him as a friend?

There's this girl I've been seeing for a little over a week. We had a great first date and I really feel there's a connection. But I'm a little unsure if she feels the same way since she rescheduled the second date. But one thing I've noticed is that she always let's me know when she gets home when I ask "text me when you get home". There are days where she has very long shifts and probably wants to go home and relax. But she always tells me when she gets home. It might be different, but there are times where I have friends who will want to talk after I finish work but I forget about it and just go home after work and relax. However, if I'm interested, I'll make sure to talk after work. Would like to hear some input other than my own.
