I don't ever want to be in another relationship. I've had relationships in the past my last one was 9 years ago. I was unhappy in all 4 of the relationships I've had and 3/4 cheated on me. One I just didn't feel anything for. When I tried to see where things would go with a potential 5th I was falsely accused, served an ex parte ppo and almost went to jail. Gave up entirely after that.

I want to be told I’m liked once they know me or at least most of who i am. Otherwise how can they even know they “like” me , are we saying we only want people to like us superficially?


That means they have to be around me like a friend or date me. in my opinion dating frames it , setting an expectation , and adding pressure. friendly hanging out is more open, relaxed etc and that is def more me.


I really don’t understand why anyone could be thinking of starting anything but friends first aside from situation-ships and arrangements

For the people who actually, we were friends first and then later on I had a feeling that they liked me. The same with my boyfriend now, but I did have some doubt/question/uncertainty whether he actually liked me or I was just gaslighting myself. I don't know if I’ll call it a surprise/out of the blue when he asked me out, but I definitely wasn’t expecting at the moment.
