How come I tell myself not to think a guy likes me until he asks me out but then when other guys actually ask me out I dont believe they like me?

Looks like you have serious self esteem and self value issues.

It is not because you may perhaps not have had an important number of people that like you that you have to think that you are not worth being liked. You should do something about reinforcing your positive attitude.

I have the feeling that you see yourself in a very negative way and that does impact you not only on your love life but on your life in general. That negative attitude takes you down and you have an unhealthy outlook on life.
