Why do men at work try to be friends with me?

I know people get offended by this question. Just move on if you don’t like it. But I don’t want male friends. Why do guys try to be friends to girl?

I have nothing in common with men. I do not want male friends. I don’t enjoy being rough on mental or physical level or playing around the way men do.

A lot of women actually complain about feeling like their male coworkers aren't friendly with them at work. Men, especially bosses, feel like they have to walk on eggshells around women at work because every man has seen women handle situations badly and try to come for the men's jobs.

And that's assuming they haven't had a woman come for them, personally.
