Why would a girl be intimidating?

I have a guy friend and we’re close. We text almost every day and love teasing each other (he does more than me). However, he admitted that I intimidate him?

If it is romantic wise, he’s all over the place. He asked a girl his number in front of me but it never is serious. He always includes me to activities and invites me out with the other guys (that i’m not close to like I am with him).

I don’t know for sure. But the most plausible explanation based on what you said is he feels like there is romantic energy between you two, but he feels like he can’t commit. You said none of his other romantic encounters have been serious. So maybe he views you as serious when it comes to relationships and he isn’t serious about it? Again not 100% sure. But that isn’t a bad thing either. Being serious about your relationships and not having one night stands and hookups is a good thing.


Also, you could just ask him why he thinks that. It sounds like he was the one who brought it up, so he should be willing to answer the question of why he thinks that.

honestly no. I am friendly and talk to anyone.. I always have a big smile and never step on people's boundaries.. As for the jealousy part no. The only thing that I can admit that I have been jealous is when he asked the other girl's number, other than that no

Interesting. Do you have a sister or friend that he may have interest in? Clearly he enjoys your company and jealousy is good to a point. Have you asked him?

We never really talk about relationships/interests it’s mostly with his other guy friends.. He has mentioned that a few girls were cute but other than that he has never told me more than that
