Do you think a man is still considered straight if he acted a bit gay in his young adult days?

He doesn’t strike me as gay now. He’s seems manly and looks manly ( maybe mature)

He seemed to do guy things and hang with guys and girls. He seemed very outgoing and liked to party and drink. But he seemed to have a twig of gay or slight feminine behavior

do men go through that? Are men still trying to find their identity or do guys have sex with other guys/ attracted to other guys during one period in time… is something a phase that men don’t admit

Being "homosexal" means being attracted exclusively or primarily to your own sex. That's all it means, and all it has ever meant. The guy may engage in other typically feminine behaviors, but those aren't related- and even the typically female behaviors that ARE related, like "having sex with guys" aren't determinant, either- orientation is about desire, not action.

I know gay guys who are deeply into cars and sports, and would happily raise the cow they'll make into the leather pants they wear; it's not the same thing.

I don't know how straight he is, unless he hated doing stuff with guys. I consider myself bisexual even though I haven't done anything with guys in years. I spent about 10 years though when I was younger where I'd be doing stuff with both genders. Not AS many guys experiment as girls, but some of us do.

I supposed it depends on what kind of 'feminine behavior' you're referring to. Of course some of them have an experimental phase too. But it's hard to say without knowing what behavior you're talking about.

I don't know just playfully acting feminine and sometimes hanging with females but not often

That's not really an indication he ever experimented with the opposite gender. He might just be one of those goofy kinda people who are playful. I wouldn't make any assumptions based on that.
