Is he ghosting me?

Went over to a guy friends house and we watched movies he said “talk soon” when I left

i texted him later the next day and we talked for a bit I fell asleep waiting for him to reply and didn’t text him till the next morning when I woke up which was at 4 am. I asked him a question in reply to something he said and he left me on read. I’m not sure if he’s angry with me or something? I wouldn’t have texted him then but I didn’t really think about it. Anyways what does it mean and what should I do?

Do you have a crush on this guy or something? If he’s your friend, why would you expect him to prioritize you as anything other than that? I think you operate under the guise of friendship but want more.

Not expecting him to prioritize me. I just wish he’d answer the question.

If you feel like him not responding is a result of potential ghosting then yeah, you expect to be a priority. I don’t have that expectation with any one of my friends unless it’s a very important question that they know I need an answer to.

Well I was going to buy something and he said I wouldn’t like it and I asked him why and he didn’t reply. I’d be spending at least 1000 bucks so I feel like an answer would be nice

I won’t get into why you shouldn’t need someone to tell you how to spend your money and instead keep things in perspective. Maybe the question is of high importance to you, but he’s not prioritizing a response to it in the way you’d like and that should be ok, go ahead and make up your own mind. If you were his girlfriend or something that’s one thing, but he’s probably looking at it the way that I am and I wouldn’t think my input makes or breaks what someone buys unless they specifically state that. I’d think it’s casual conversation.

If you want it get it. Read reviews if they’re available, watch some videos or whatever to get some feedback but yeah, don’t wait around for him. Besides your taste can be totally different.
