Guys, Why does the guy I am talking to text me and then when I respond he doesn’t reply?

I have been talking to this guy and he sends me a text message everyday. He says stuff like, “good morning, how are you?” Or “What are you up to?” I will reply to his message in a timely manner, but then he never writes me back. He will go the whole day and night without saying another word to me. I don’t know why he does this. I am the kind of woman that won’t send a guy a barrage of messages until he has to answer me. I simply just don’t say anything else until he replies. I don’t know if I am wrong for doing this or what, but that’s just how I am. What I am wondering is why he does this and if he is just playing games with me. What should I do about this? I mean when we first started talking a few weeks ago we hit it off and the conversation was good. I noticed that he did this even then, and brushed it off but now it’s becoming annoying. I am confused because he says he likes talking to me but does this, so I don’t know what to think. Please help!

Keep watch, to reaffirm them in your head, otherwise you will loser yourself again. Never listen to someone words, listen to their actions. If a guys words don't match his actions, its mean he is a dick, and time to move on.
Don't fall for all the compliments, it can be a form of manipulation, to get he what he wants from you. peoples compliments aren't always sincere, its can also be a motivation behind the compliment.
