Tell him to go f himself. You really need to demand better. I've read a few of your questions. These guys are just using you for sex. Try looking for someone that actually cares about you.

Maybe, just maybe he was trying to put it in a more polite/gentle way in the hope of not upsetting you further.
But you know he said from the start that he is not a relationship person and he loves his freedom but he was giving me mixed signals: coming back to me, writing to me on Valentine' s day
