Also why would he want to know?
+1 yI gotchu. 😉 (Assuming you’re really into this guy; couldn’t see otherwise.)
Why not? Even if he may say hi to anyone you can’t read minds and if he does this often to you then at least this person is trying to be friendly. Dudes are very practical and look for if he flirts with you because there’s a high chance he’s not very flirtatious if he is really is only saying “hi, how are you?” You can definitely break him out of his shell.
Maybe you should tell this guy, for the shake of a little baby step, that not only noticed that he always asks you “yatta yatta”. Tell him you like it when he asks you about your day or you like how often he talks to too you. or maybe even, “it makes my day… yatta yatta.” No matter what the girl would look like I would love to hear that and if it was a girl I was crushing on I would blush or react uncontrollably. Notice how these are all direct ways to submit a portion of how you feel. I wouldn’t play too much with one of these phrases either because we need an answer! And we want it… soon!
Sooner is not the better. Every girl definitely has there own way of flirting and guys suck at knowing what is “friendly” or “flirty” or “I’m up set” haha. Reading emotions is difficult for straight men.
Okay… scenario time! Simple.
Do everything you normally do and be prepared for a reaction. Definitely wait for a good time. You have a good conversation in your mind maybe best after a great laugh even.. Then, BOOM! Lay it on him. Simply say in a simple as hell but genuine way how you like how he talks to you. DO NOT ASK HIM WHY!- Good conversation/ smiling or laughing
- “I enjoy these conversations” ( bc it lightly shows you care)
- Pay attention how he responds.
- Remember not to ask him why because that would possibly make him shit himself if he’s actually digging you.
- Hopefully you get your answer 😎

It's called 'taking an interest in another person'. Good people often do this with someone they like, either through platonic admiration, or because they're physically attracted/romantically interested in them. In short, the guy likes you and he's trying to make an effort to get to know you better/make you feel appreciated.
If it's mutual (if you like him as well), then try not to be so guarded and just talk to him, tell him things you're comfortable with him knowing when he asks and ask him about his life as well (it's clearly what he wants). Arrange to do things together, hang out, study, work or whatever. Just give him the benefit of the doubt and talk to him.
Although, if it's not mutual and you're uncomfortable with him, tell him straight-up that you're not interested and keep your distance, no mixed signals, etc. Just be clear about your boundaries with him.00 Reply
+1 yFrom experience, usually, it's the girl asking about the guys day. I think him asking shows he cares and has an interest in you. I would consider this a good thing, so don't stress about it!!

He’s interested oh yeah! Lol it is the guys job more so to come up with the meet up, date/activity. I personally used to suck at that but us boys learn the hard way, smh. I agree, it’s nothing to stress about because this is a minor unawareness he has naturally and just thinks, ”I’m just tell her coffee”. I guess this effort is better than asking you what to do or where to go. This guy probably isn’t used to going out on dates and maybe is too nervous to “ mess things up” maybe he like being a mystery but the turtle has to come out of his shell at one point!
At some point you have to communicate with him to tell him how you feel about this. I think it’s important to let him know cause if you don’t say anything he’ll never know what’s the issue. But make a big fuss over it either and change the whole situation over it. Think of it as a little one to one, say what you need to say so he clearly knows but, don’t let it take over the whole situation (like be nice at first, mention the time dilemma quickly, then brush it off changing the subject and back to super nice) lol I don’t want your first date with this dude to be about this topic. There’s definitely a time and place or more so a moment to tell him.
First if you didn’t go on a date yet, and it’s still coffee just text him “when and where?” - +1 y
Then bring up how you love the coffee idea, you’re all about it. and mention how it would be great if he gave you more details about the date, when and where is a good start. I think he should understand this simple logic. From there he’ll understand hopefully that you want to know where you’re going, that’s it. if he makes a big deal out of it that would be weird cause this is such a little issue
Asker+1 y@PizzaDaddyo I actually brought up our coffee date and told him that I could meet up with him next week. He then responded that I read his mind and that he was about to suggest time and place today.

Lmfao! You “read” his mind? Slick response.
He clearly didn’t make up his own mind.
Sup wit ur mans? Funny thing is for me is this dude just mentions coffee. I’d expect he’s taking you to Starbucks and not know how to order. Hopefully he had a real local cafe in mind. Haha there’s this cafe 15/20 min from my house and it’s named, “really good coffee”, I’d love to take a girl there lol.
He was about to? No, he wasn’t. If you didn’t bring it up he could have eventually “forgot”. Definitely sounds like a subtle excuse. Why couldn’t he think of the whole plan and tell you? You have the right to know what you’re doing. I assume he didn’t think about it because he never was in the situation before and he doesn’t know how important it is to have good communication.
I can read his mind tho only because I was once was in his shoes. He just wasn’t certain to a degree and was vague just mentioning coffee since coffee isn’t the worst date idea. Lol if he said pizza you would have asked earlier on what pizza because pizza is more exciting that coffee.
I still say, give this guy a chance if you like him. Keep in mind he’s definitely got a long way to go. It’s so early in the relationship though. I don’t think he’s doing too much too wrong. He just hasn’t been out a lot and that’s OK. Definitely make sure you let him know that you just want to know what day idea you’re doing I had a time just so you’re not going crazy being curious on what’s going on.

+1 yYeah, any regular sign of interest from him is good, it might not guarantee romantic interest, but its a really good initial sign.

00 ReplyObviously. He is taking interest in gour life and you should talk to him. He is indirectly asking you for your time towards him. Start talking maybe he is going in some problems or he and you are spending less time.

That can be casual if you're already good friends but if you aren't already close he wants to be closer to you. That can still mean anything so its impossible to know his intentions. Id suggest something like “So are we getting that coffee?” If he wants to be more than friends with you thats his opening opportunity
Asker+1 yBut I already said yes to his offer
Asker+1 yWhy is he consistently talking to me like every day but he hasn’t brought up coffee date? Like he had asked what food I like and asked where I have gone to eat etc
Asker+1 yIs he waiting for me to brought it up?

Asker+1 yHe asked to grab a coffee with me while he was away on trip. We agreed to meet after this past Friday when he’s come back from his trip.
We’ve texted everyday since Friday. He hasn’t set time and place for the coffee date yet. He’s asked if I’ve had busy week and what I’ve been upto etc but why hasn’t he set time and place yet?
does that mean he isn’t really that interested?
Is it a bad sign for a guy you’re talking to to text you multiple times a day outside of regular conversations to ask how I’m doing?
