my guy friend text me good morning every day. I usually don't text back much but when i do he double texts. I just got out of a relationship and he knows that. He gave me some advice about my ex but the next day he did this... out of the blue he called me "baby" and i asked him why was he calling me that which he never responded. Its been several days and he hasn't texted me back since calling me that.
Cold replies show lack of interest and it seems he was trying to lowkey initiate his interest towards you, normally good morning texts means he was waiting for you to wake up so that itself shows interest but you barely responding and your cold replies showed the opposite, one can only put enough effort to then realize it's not getting anywhere and then leads to this part, he's moving on, or maybe he found another fishy he's interested in and now she's getting the attention.
I think he is responding to your lack of interest. Not your fault tho, i think he is acting kinda bad
