He's not being "hot and cold" - the problem is that you seem to think that you should be the ONLY thing going on in his life. In reality, he actually has other things going on in his life, and so he doesn't sit around all day and night staring at his phone waiting for you to text so he can reply to you immediately. He's told you that sometimes HE'S BUSY - and that's exactly what's going on.

The problem here is your expectations, and your demand of instant attention. That tells me that you don't really care about HIM, you only care about the attention you get from him - the validation. If you cared about HIM, you'd realize that you'd WANT him to be busy when he's away from you so that he could focus on YOU when the two of you were together. If he's never busy, then he's got nothing going on in his life, which means he's not earning or improving himself, and if he's not doing that, then he's not the kind of man you'd ever want to be with.

A guy is interested in you and is hot and cold correct? You gauge his interest by his body language. Is he nervous or shy around you? Does he try to hang out or be next to you? Is he nice to you? Look for signs of interest and if he is then it is probably a tactic. Some guys think if they send mixed signals to girls, it increases the girls attraction to him. Did the tactic work on you?

Thank you for your answer, appreciated :) I’d say he often writes to me morning texts asks a lot about my day, but sometimes he doesn’t. He says “he is busy” also, replies after hours sometimes. And he said that “he finds himself waiting me to wake up and see my message”.

He does not want to appear needy and he wants to demonstrate that he has a life outside of just girls. He is probably to shy to ask you out so you may have to break social norms and ask him out. Ask him to come over and help you with something and transition into getting lunch if you are not direct. Or if this is at work or school, ask him to join you at the table and eat together then ask him if he wants to do it again outside of work/school or whatever you are at.

Ohhh! That's very interesting! That makes a huge difference! So now that makes total sense. He's already started his day (because he is east of you on the globe), and he is just waiting for you -- and everyone in your time zone -- to start yours as well. That's perfectly reasonable! :)

It really depends on the guy and girl. I give the same energy to women that she gives to me. If we're clicking then we're hot. But if she gets cold I get cold. It's not a game. I'm just reacting to her energy. Or lack of energy. It's not just about her. I think this is a mistake a lot of women make. And if she gets hot and cold too much I just say goodbye and move on.
