In love, a psychopath or a player?

I'm getting to know a guy I exchanged contact with on holiday. He said at the beginning that his intention is to get to know each other well, and that he really wants to be with me.

I told him I don't want to rush into anything and get to know him properly first, but he seems to tell me little about him and doesn't really ask me deeper questions.

However, he texts me every single day, including every morning, throughout the day and night - he seems to be checking up on me every time, and if I don't reply for longer time he immediately says he is worried about me. He works every single day pretty much most of the day and texts me when he wakes up, when he has breaks and before sleep.

He keeps calling me before sleep to hear my voice and says really strong words like 'I will wait for you here my whole life', and 'I miss you, I want you, my heart chose you, commenting on how beautiful I am, saying that I am his energy to work, he even sings to me lmao. All this without even getting to know me properly, it's been 2 weeks. Wtf?

I'm not sure whether he is in love or obsessed, or just trying to tell me what I want to hear.

I don't know what to think, should I run?

Psychos don't talk much about themselves. They have a short repertoire they say about themselves, it's usually things everybody likes to hear. However once the repertoire is over, they repeat themselves. On the other hand psycho love to hear your emotional talk because you reveal your weak spots for them. This is highly interested for a psycho because they gain control over you and this gives them joy.

Players bomb you with cheap flattery because it's easiest way to get in your pants. However I don't have much experience with them.

I dont think it's a sosiopath personally I think it's someone who falls easily in love. If he was a sosiopath he would mirror your behaviour and try for you to get obsessed with them not the opposite.

Sounds like love bombing to me. Bottom line whenever I have tried to date someone like this, it never works out. I give it 2 weeks to 3 months before it's over.

Actually he does know me for 2 weeks, because we met on holiday so it's impossible for him to have known about me before.
