Why do most girls like softer looking guys?

I really don't understand this at all. Girls would rather have a boyish looking guy with large eyes and somewhat arched eyebrows. I on the other hand, have nice low downward slanting eyebrows and a square jaw with a prominent chin. Hell, I'm so masculine looking that I always look angry. I'm covered in hair from arms to legs (including stomach and back hair). Back in the old days I would of been a coveted sex object but now girls like girlie looking guys with girlie smooth skin.

Of course a girl doesn't want too soft but that seem to like somewhere in between.

@dryad that guy has arched eyebrows. Mine are very low and downward facing. There is actually no skin showing between my eye and eyebrow.

There was a study done that most females prefer more feminine looking men. And I read another one that face shape comes into play. More "manly" looking men would be more likely to cheat. Of course these are just studies :)

I'm just trying to get an idea of just how hairy you are. Though it does sound like too much for my preference. A link like this one is more to my liking, though I don't mind more hair on the torso area. Notice he's got some face shadow and forearm hair -- I like that.

Sort of like that. My eyebrows are way more caveman like and thicker than his. He looks more nordic looking though and I'm more spanish looking or something. Italian or whatever.

He's trimmed, which I like. Though look at it this way -- some girls like myself like kissing and running our tongues on guys belly and chest so it's nicer to do when he isn't overflowing with hair in those areas. Though I don't care for any back hair, it's easy to shave off while it's just growing. Leg hair I don't mind.
