Pretty straight forward. Your lives aren't compatible. Different goals/interests/whatever, but not aligned. Of he thinks your high maintenance and he's trying to be kind. A lof of us will say that in that case.

He didn't find you attractive either way that's why he walked away. Either physically attractive or socially, or attractive as a mate, or your goals made you unattractive, there is some degree to which when considering you he said "She is not attractive for me to pursue."... because otherwise he'd be pursuing you. But that's how all failed interactions work so I'm not sure what the big mystery is here.

Yeah. He was giving me empty compliments and that hurt more. He sent long paragraph saying how it was “very” nice to talk to me and get to know me and how I’m “very” nice person and I have a good heart. He also said he’s “very sure” that I’ll met my soulmate one day. It’s like I’m that pathetic that he thinks I would be devastated because of him
