What does it mean when a guy says, "we are compatible."?

@Lumanos I did agree, but he is emotionally unavailable... because of this reason I have been pulling away and when I try to he says he can't let me go... which is not fair to me. Not sure what to do because he claims to only like me as a close friend, but I know how badly he was hurt in the past and he just can't seem to shake it.
