Why would a guy who pursued me for a year keep pretending to be other men to get in touch with me?

It always ends up with us having a conversation and him letting me know it’s actually him and sending ‘I love you;’ or sexual or romantic pics of himself. Is he messing with me, or trying to tell me that even though things didn’t work out between us, that he has feelings for me? I don’t get it.

He's a creep for one but I guess he's doing it to one talk to you to satisfy what he wants. Like you know how when you have a crush on someone talking to them makes you feel good? Well since you're not doing that to him on his actual account then he figures he'll get it another way, and two I suppose he's thinking if you talk to these fake accounts and you find that you like them and then he tells you it's actually him it's kinda like, oh well you like his personality, maybe you'll give him a chance
