I followed guy after three years and texted him “hi, how are you?”. I blocked him and unfollowed by myself 😭 I was overly sensitive and overthinker that time.
He didn’t follow me back and didn’t reply yet🥲

As for you honestly you are making a mountain out of a molehill & it’s like you want to blow your brains out because someone didn’t follow you back.

As for the “hi, how are you?” If I read that I wouldn’t respond to it either because it’s the number one generated message that’s boring & no effort was put into the message.

You blocked him & unfollowed him, I love it & hopefully he blocks you in return so you can’t following him in the future & you will always wonder.

If you follow someone there is nothing that says you have to follow them back.

I feel like it’s important to understand that just because you’re ready for or interested in a certain connection does not mean the other person will reciprocate. In my opinion, choosing to block someone, whether it was impulsive, emotionally driven, etc, is a very finalizing decision. It says to the person: I never want to see or hear from you again, and I don’t want you to have any way of contacting me ever again.


It’s been 3 years since you sent that very clear message, so choosing to reach out was inevitably risky. You should’ve went into that situation prepared for no response, and ready to respect this choice, because you made yours a long time ago. So if he doesn’t reply, I’m sorry if it makes you feel scorned or rejected but it is what it is.
