Should I bump into him or forget it?

So this guy I like and I always say hi and he always says hi to me first with my name and finally he actually had a conversation with me for once last week at night and he was so smiley and all and actually he made an effort to talk to me after I stopped talking and he stood there talking to me even tho he was done with work and was going home he still spoke to me and then after like a few days later he walk past me saw me but didn’t say hi I said hi I didn’t hear a response all I saw was his mouth move a little but he didn’t say anything and didn’t look at me even so I’m thinking he just isn’t interested and this whole time I was just tweaking thinking he likes me and today I have to go to work to get some stuff but I don't know if I should make an effort to bump into him or just back off and not be annoying please I need help people😭

I diddddd I spoke to him the other night we talked about random stuff and he’s the one who made more effort to talk but afterwards he walked past me and didn’t say hi Victoria as usual so I was like maybe he’s not interested because I said hi before that I saw his mouth move a little he said something but I’m not sure what so I don't know if I should still go in to see him or something because if he didn’t say hi he probably isn’t interested he didn’t even make eye contact

That happened like a week ago tho didn't it because you posted this a while ago, or did it happen again after that cause if so then it's possible he probably lost interest but you should try anyways, just don't put too much effort if he doesn't put enough after a while of you trying, then it's a sign you should move on

I mean it’s the first time he started a conversation with me before that he’s always been mad shy so we didn’t really exchange numbers or anything yet

You can do three things the first is give up and it's just over, second is you can bump into him like you plan and if he's losing interest he might end losing it completely at some point or the third, bump into him and take a leap of faith and ask him for a way to contact him, there he would see progress and be motivated again and he might put in more effort, there's a risk tho, since you are a shy girl yourself then there's a chance of rejection if he simply just isn't interested

Yea I’ve never been rejected since I didn’t really ask anyone out ever lol but I’ll just go and be nice to him but that’s it

Then if he's losing interest when you've been replying back and there's no progress he is going to fully lose interest, there's no progress between you both and no one is moving on anyone, eventually it's all just gonna die out.
