I swore off sex for a year because my lifestyle was starting to affect me badly.
When the year was up, it was like any other day. I didn't go jumping out into bars trying to meet women or flirting all the time. In fact, I don't know when exactly this happened but most women are just totally uninteresting to me now.
Through my day, I'm always weighing how I spend my time. Specifically when I'm around guys, I find myself wondering who these people are to me, and what am I to them and what value do we offer eachother.
But until recently, I never really thought that way around women. Not unless I was thinking about dating someone seriously.
This change in perspective has made me realize that most women are pretty useless and if anything, will hold you back. I want a free thinker, who has some kind of purpose in life and is also an artist.

I took 2 years off of dating after ending a 3 year relationship in my teens. I can’t say it changed the way that I view people, but it helped me to change the way that I viewed myself. My self esteem and overall mental health was deteriorating in that relationship, so when I was single for 2 years, I improved a lot and learnt to be more independent rather than relying on someone else to make me happy.
Separated. Hence a lot more time to socialise, not for romance.
Yes, I go out more and is definitely more healthy.
The only con is I have to "hands-on" more often 🤣
Yes, I am currently doing that right now.
