Why do men pick and choose when they tolerate a female living in the same house, half naked?

It’s sounds insane. I promise you I cannot word better than this. He’s not my blood cousin but he’s a family friend but just curious as to why he doesn’t mind when my sister has no trousers on but if he walks in on me naked or half naked? The point isn’t me wanting him to see me naked that’s just weird, it’s the fact that he’s selective and acting like he doesn’t notice when my sister has no trousers on and she’s younger but towards me the guy hides or rushes away. I’m trying to understand how a man’s brain works

You said he's a family friend; are the two of you close? It's possible that maybe he sees you as a sister, and/or he feels more respectful of your privacy than hers?

If he's closer with you, than with her, I could see that being the case, but if not, then I really can't think of another option.

maybe he low key thinks your Sister is hot and he likes it when she's half naked but when you do it it's just offensive. Or maybe he just has a better relationship with her and doesn't feel awkward around her half naked but around you it IS awkward to him.
