Is it sexist that it feels morally wrong for me to leave a woman in an unlocked house whilst she’s sleeping but not a man?

No it’s not sexist - it’s good to be more protective about a female in your life’s safety

That alone is not sexist in my opinion. Women are overall weaker than men, even though both can be overpowered, beaten and/or killed. The usual criminal breaking into a house is a male, and if you think average man vs average man compared to average man vs average woman, you already know what fight you would step into first.
I do think it should still feel morally wrong to leave the house unlocked while a man is sleeping though, why would you want anything bad happening to them just because of gender?

It's foolish to leave ANYONE in a house with the doors unlocked. Come to think of it, it's foolish to do that even if nobody is home

If it doesn't self lock then get a padlock and chain, That's what I would do anyway.
