My guy friend gets mad when I am friendly with other guys?

We do not talk much to each other, so I did not understand why he would get upset. He tells me I am too friendly and too open, in a sense of joking with other guys and making stupid jokes with them. I showed him a screenshot of a dumb joke between me and another guy friend he knows as well (we both know we are both joking and know each others sarcasm), about us getting married and making fun of what we despise about each other. His response was "Simps everywhere" and I felt like he did not understand it was a joke, the guy I was joking with is also his mutual friend so he knows him well enough to know he is always joking around and making himself laugh over stupid humour.

As I am writing this I really do not know if I am in the wrong, the guy I was joking with lives in a different country completely so nothing would ever happen romantically. So I do not know why he would get upset for?

Did I step over the line, and I too friendly and jokingly or he is sensitive?

Friends criticize each other. Completely normal. My friends and I do it to help keep each other in line and acting normal. This is how guys are. We also like to tease each other and it's not genuine criticism.

There's also the chance that he likes you so he's specifically butthurt about you flirting/being over friendly with other dudes. Either way, if you don't like his style, you should stay away from him and stop texting him.
