Why does my best friend who is a guy get mad when I talk about other guys?

Basically the title. Anytime I mention a guy is interested in me, he comes up with every reason for me not to date the guy. He just really puts the other guys down, calling out every single flaw he can find. He has a girlfriend though so I don't think he likes me but I don't know.

Ever since he got with his girlfriend, he doesn't seem to want to hang out anymore. When I ask him to hang out he says he's too busy and that he's not in this area as much anymore. When I said I could meet him half way, he said "Oh that's true. I'll have to see." I even told him he could bring his girlfriend, but he just shrugged and said "We'll see, she's pretty busy too." He has a girlfriend though so I don't think he likes me but I don't know.

It sounds like he is into you and is jealous. He may also be worried if you get a boyfriend he will see less of you.
