Why is my crush doing this?

usually when i message my crush he'll message back within 1 hour and will carry on the conversation, since Wednesday (it's Friday) when i messaged him he didn't look at the message and still hasn't, his last online was yesterday though.

i messaged him again today and i saw him online and a different girl online then they went offline at the same time and he still hasn't even looked at either of my messages. however since Wednesday he's started talking to me in person (which we usually didn't except in lessons) and started every conversation so i know he isn't purposefully ignoring me because he isn't the kind of person who would and if he was he'd ignore me in both not just on text.

why is he doing this, has he archived me on purpose or something or was it an accident so maybe he hasn't even seen my chat? or is there another reason why he's not replying?

A few things could have happened. He could have seen it and then not had time to answer it and then completely forgot. He may have just missed it entirely. I miss notifications sometimes. I would not worry too much about him going offline the same time another girl did. That could be a complete coincidence. I would look at the more telling sign that he is talking to you in person and is starting the conversations. That is a really good sign.

Because he has a life of his own and you´re not yet his girlfriend. The issue in the situation is that he usually he had the time to prioritize your messages so that when you wrote something he answered quickly. But it probably happened something that he forgot to answer your message. Since he talks with you offline I don´t think there´s much to it.

Based on what you wrote, he probably missed the notification or told himself he'd answer later and then he forgot.
