Why does my crush do this?

Let’s say I’m talking with someone else and I say something random and she looks at me like I said the most horrid thing on planet earth. I know she doesn’t find it weird because if her friends were to say the same thing, she wouldn’t look at them like that. Her and I are friends and she’s been doing this for a while now so that’s why I’m asking.

This COULD actually be a good thing. Now, I am not claiming to be 'sure' this is what's happening. But here's how I read this: She likes you back, and so feels that things you say reflect on her as well (the way they would if her 'boyfriend' said something that might possibly be slightly emberassing for her. Even if it's stuff you don't think she really cares about someone saying. Basically she is overly sensitive about others judging something you say negatively, because she sees you as "hers" and 'feels' like everyone else knows this too (even though she knows you two haven't made anything official or even talked to each other about becoming a couple

That is what I believe is happening.
