Why do guys I’ve dated talk absolute trash about me to their friends? I thought we broke up in a mature way. Why do they do this?

I guess they either have a different opinion on how the breakup went or they are not at a maturity level worth listening to yet.

9/10 people who trash talk ex's would be a major red flag. It's usually to win over a friend group or try and come across as a victim instead of accepting your part in the ending of the relationship
